  • This has a similar spec to the Kibo+ but has drop bars and bar end shifters. This version has a 1 1/8” threaded steerer for an ahead stem. Please note that in the photo the threadless steerer is uncut and the stem at its highest - we will cut this lower than pictured.

As with all the Kibo’s, the Kibo Dirt Drop is a British made 26" wheeled expedition bike with the frame and forks hand built by one of England’s top framebuilders, Lee Cooper.

The lugged frame is built using the strongest gauge of the air hardened Reynolds 631 steel tubing on the main triangle. The forks are also Reynolds 631. The stays are Reynolds 525. Please note the Dirt Drop has different top tube lengths to the other Kibo’s. For further further measurements please refer to our geometry page here and for sizing click here.

The Dirt Drop comes equipped with Shimano XT chainset and rear derailleur, XT hubs, Tektro RRL SR drilled hole levers, Dura Ace bar-end shifters and Nitto heat treated dirt drop bars finished with very comfortable bar tape.

We have a number of options to tailor the bike to your needs – a wide range of sizes, the low profile Tektro CR710 cantilevers or an upgrade to the Avid Shorty cantilever brakes. XT V brakes are also an option as are disc brakes. For tyres there's a choice of the expedition ready Marathon Plus Tour or Continental Race Kings.

We can supply the bike with a range of stem lengths, it will come fitted with 80mm but please let us know if you would prefer 60mm, 70mm, 90mm, 100mm or 110mm.
