  • This is an upgraded version of the Kibo expedition bike with a few extras. This version has a 1” threaded steerer for a quill stem.

     

    As with all the Kibo’s, the Kibo+ is a British made 26" wheeled expedition bike with the frame and forks hand built by one of England’s top framebuilders, Lee Cooper.

     

    The lugged frame is built using the strongest gauge of the air hardened Reynolds 631 steel tubing on the main triangle. The forks are also Reynolds 631. The stays are Reynolds 525. 

     

    The extras versus the standard Kibo include XT brakes and levers, an XT crankset and XT hubs. It also comes equipped with Microshift thumbshifters, There is also the option to further upgrade the brakes to the Avid Shorty Ultimates or the Paul Components Motolite V-brakes.     It is also finished in British Racing Green as standard, but we now offer any of our stock colours at no extra cost or one from our wide range of custom colours for a small extra cost.

     

    We have a number of options to tailor the bike to your needs – a wide range of sizes, brake choice, Ergon GP1 grips or Brooks slender brown lock on grips, as well as three tyre options. Please note that if V brakes are selected the frame will still be supplied with the cantilever brake bridge between the seat stays.
