The Kibo is a British made expedition bike with the frame and forks hand built by one of England’s top framebuilders, Lee Cooper.
The lugged frame is built using the strongest gauge of the air hardened Reynolds 631 steel tubing on the main triangle,. The forks are also Reynolds 631. The stays are Reynolds 525.
The components include quality parts from Ergon, Shimano and Brooks. The transmission consists of SunRace thumbshifters, Shimano Deore triple chainset and front and rear derailleur.
We have a number of options to tailor the bike to your needs – V-brakes or cantilever brakes (now also disc brakes - click here for more info), as well as bar and tyre options. Please note that if V brakes are selected the frame will still be supplied with the cantilever brake bridge between the seat stays so you can switch to canties if need be (if you prefer it without the canti bridge just let us know).
