The Kibo is a British made expedition bike with the frame and forks hand built by one of England’s top framebuilders, Lee Cooper.
The lugged frame is built using the strongest gauge of the air hardened Reynolds 631 steel tubing on the main triangle. The forks are also Reynolds 631. The stays are Reynolds 525.
The components include quality parts from Nitto, Shimano and Brooks. the frame comes with bosses for racks and mudguards and three bottle cages. The transmission consists of SunRace thumbshifters, Shimano Deore triple chainset and front derailleur, and an XT rear derailleur.
All of our bikes are customised so we have a number of options to tailor the bike to your needs; a wide range of sizes, V or cantilever brakes, as well as bar and tyre options etc. Please note that if V brakes are selected the frame will still be supplied with the cantilever brake bridge between the seat stays, unless you tell us not to and we will just build it without. We also now have the option for mechanical disc brakes - click here for more info
