We are now offering a choice of two Skyelander 650b randonneur complete bike specifications.

The lugged frame and forks is custom built in England based on your measurements, has clearance for 42mm 650b tyres with mudguards. It was designed with Compass / Rene Herse tyres in mind. N.B. Framesets are no longer available, just complete bikes.

The Skyelander 650b has a choice of low trail or mid+ trail. If you're a true Jan Heine fan then it's the low trail option following his geometry suggestions - we will make the rake circa 66mm giving a low trail of c39mm as per his recommendations. The frame includes mudguard mounts, two bottle cage mounts, and if Reynolds tubing is chosen then both rear rack and lowrider mounts. The brake bosses are for cantilever brakes.

We offer a range of tubing choices, Reynolds 631, Reynolds 853 or Compass Mule with Toei Special fork blades (the latter if choosing the RH spec).

We can offer either a threaded 1" steerer for a quill stem or 1 1/8" threadless steerer for an ahead stem. We now also offer a disc brake version (IS mount, QR).
