Bars: The Skyelander 700c comes with super strong and stiff heat treated Nitto bars, either the Nitto RM-013 dirt drops with a slight flare or the more compact M106 SSB bar. We can fit flat bars if preferred.

Shifters: Shifting is via Microshift bar-end shifters which are highly durable and reliable. Friction controls the front derailleur and a choice of indexed or friction control the rear, it takes a matter of seconds to switch from one to the other. The equivalent Microshift thumbshifters will be fitted if it's a Skelander with flat bars.

The stem: We offer both ahead and quill.

​

The ahead is a Zenith hollow forged AL6061-T6 aluminium stem. 

​

Our standard quill stem is the Nitto Technomic Deluxe Tallux. 

​

Tape: We normally fit the Brooks microfibre black or brown to match the saddle, and if you're having flat bars then the Ergon GP5 for more hand positions, in the premium biokork. Brooks leather bar tape is available as an upgrade.
