KIBO DISC BRAKES

The Kibo Disc comes equipped with the excellent TRP Spyke mechanical disc brakes. It’s the best mechanical disc brake in our opinion.

The TRP Spyke is a dual sided mechanical brake where both pads actuate giving an even and precise clamping force. This translates into even pad wear. 

​

The pads can be adjusted easily and independently with a 3mm allen key, as well as a simple cable barrel adjuster to adjust both the pads simultaneously. 

​

On the Kibo Disc we pair the Spykes with a 180mm front rotor and 160mm at the rear.

Shimano Deore levers with compressionless cable housing ensure a quick and positive response.
