The ROHLOFF equipped bikes are the flagship expedition bikes of the Kibo range. Rohloff have a strong following from those that use a Rohloff hub, with the majority saying they would never go back to a derailleur system. The big advantage of the Rohloff hub is that the cogs are protected from the elements. Obviously this is of great benefit if you're cycling in harsh environments where salt, rain or sand can affect an exposed transmission.

Shimano Deore V-brakes are excellent, however more and more frequently we are fitting disc brakes - for the Kibo Rohloff Disc click here. We use Thorn cranks to ensure the chainline is spot on, as well as their very durable chainrings.

 

The Kibo Rohloff is available with either a quill or ahead stem, although ahead is our recommended set up.
