The Skyelander Rohloff is the flagship of the Skyelander range.

It’s the ideal companion for touring on roads with some towpaths thrown in.

This version of the Skyelander Rohloff is equipped with disc brakes & Gates Belt Drive​.

 

The combination of the Rohloff hub and Gates Belt is great.
 
The Rohloff eliminates the need for replacing derailleurs and the regular fine tuning of gear cables - the Rohloff hub has all this covered.

The frame is hand built in the UK using the quality air-hardened British Reynolds 631 steel for the main triangle.  The chainstays are also 631 and the seat stays oversized to maintain stiffness with the split for the belt. The fork blades are Reynolds 631. Reynolds 853 is an upgrade option.

We offer the choice of your frame being built with either lugs, or fillet brazed. If you're not sure which you'd prefer just give us a call and we can explain the differences and pro's and cons - both use brazing to give the strongest join.

The frame uses the beautiful stainless steel Paragon sliding dropouts, with a split just above the drive side seatstay, so the bate can be installed.

​

This is an ultimate touring bike and because of that we want it to be right for you, so there is flexibility on components - drops v riser bars etc.  

​

Every Skyelander Rohloff Disc is made to order, including the frame, with the top tube and seat tube lengths fine tuned to each individual customer.​
