This is the Rohloff + Gates Belt Drive version of the Pamira.

 

The frame is identical to the derailleur version with the exception of different rear dropout inserts made specifically by Paragon for the Rohloff disc hub. These stainless steel sliding dropouts also have a split to enable installation of the Gates Belt.

The Pamira is equipped with components for expedition touring.

 

At the heart of the bike is the hand built frame in oversize Reynolds tubing for strength and stiffness in the right places.

​

The key difference to the derailleur version is obviously the transmission and shifters. The Rohloff disc hub is coupled with a Thorn Rohloff chainset and the Rohloff twist shifter. Loaded touring friendly gearing through the chainring and Rohloff sprocket size, tough rims for rough tracks, a Brooks saddle and Geoff loop bars for comfort.
