Bars: The heat treated Nitto M106 are perfect bars for the Stanforth Conway - they’re strong and lightweight. The bars are compact (78mm reach) and shallow (128mm drop) so the drops are in easy reach.

The heat-treated aluminum construction provides strength and durability while keeping the weight low.

Shifters: Shimano 105 STI’s control the gear changing. They are slim with good ergonomic design. Shimano have positioned the brake lever pivots to increase power and improve ergonomics. A feature we like is the ability to fine tune the reach up to 10 mm with adjusters for custom fitment for different hand sizes.

If you have a preference for bar-end shifters we can switch the levers to TRP’s and shifters to Dura Ace 2 x 11 bar-end shifters, just let us know at the time of ordering.

The stem: The anodized black 3D forged stem has a 31.8mm bar bore for the Nitto M106 O/S bars. The stem is available in various lengths.  Angle of rise is 7 degree and stack height 40mm.

Tape: We use our favourite bar tape which we already use on the Kibo Dirt Drop and Skyelander 700c, the Profile Design Drive cushioned bar tape.
