The current lead time from ordering your custom Stanforth to your bike being ready is 12 weeks.
The Kibo Rohloff is our flagship 26" wheel expedition bike of the Kibo range. This is the disc version with a Gates Carbon Belt Drive.
As with all the Kibo’s, the Kibo Rohloff is a British made expedition bike with the frame and forks hand built by one of England’s top framebuilders, Lee Cooper.
If you'd prefer 27.5"/650b or 700c/29" wheels then we will design the frame accordingly.
The lugged frame is built using the strongest gauge of the air hardened Reynolds 631 steel tubing for the main triangle. The fork blades are also Reynolds 631. The chainstays and seatstays are also Reynolds 631. The frame has Paragon stainless steel sliding dropouts for belt tensioning, also incorporating a split to install the belt.
The transmission consists of the Rohloff hub along with the Gates belt and Gates CDX sprockets, the more premium and durable version for touring.
The handbuilt wheels use Andra 30 26" 36h disc rims, made for touring. The front hub is Shimano XT 36 hole 6 bolt disc, or a dynamo hub as an upgrade.
