On the Torro, both the hydraulic Shimano GRX and Sram callipers we use are the low profile flat mount type.

Both the GRX RX810 and RX820 hydraulic brakes give excellent control, modulation and a quick initial braking point. They give power with minimal effort. They are also ruggedly reliable.

Similarly the Sram brakes are well designed with excellent performance. Sram have optimised the hood shape to fit hands of all sizes, for comfortable and controlled braking from any position.
