On the Torro Rohloff, we use the excellent TRP Hylex RS hydraulic flat mount disc brakes.

The TRP Hylex provide plenty of power and excellent modulation. 

 

The levers are comfortable; they're not too big because the master cylinder doesn't have to share space with any shifting mechanism as the shifting is controlled by the Rohloff twist shifter.

​

The lever is easy to access from the hoods or drops, and the bite point feels more or less exactly right.

 

For those with smaller hands, the lever reach is also adjustable using a 2mm allen key.

We do also offer mechanical disc brakes if that is your preference.
